The Pearlstein Gallery is pleased to announce its first ever open-call Faculty and Staff exhibition. The show will be guest judged and curated by Alex Baker, Director of Fleisher/Ollman Gallery. Applications are open now through October 15, 2022 at 11:59pm EST. All Westphal employees including adjuncts, all administrative positions, facilities workers, full and part time faculty and staff are encouraged to apply with up to 10 slides on their application via https://westphalfacultyandstaff.artcall.org/. Artists will be notified of their selection status by the end of the Fall term.
This exhibition will focus on the personal studio work of Westphal faculty & staff. We kindly request that you do not submit contracted or commercial projects that lay outside of an independent fine art practice. We also request that artists refrain from applying with project proposals / unfinished work. We understand this may be prohibitive to many incredible bodies of work, and we hope to host a future exhibition that includes the more industry forward approach with the right project team.
